American Hospital Dubai is a 254-bed, acute care, multispecialty hospital designed to provide high quality, American standards of healthcare to meet the needs of the region. Physicians at American Hospital Dubai are USA-board certified or Western equivalent and the hospital is equipped with the most advanced imaging and diagnostic technology. American Hospital Dubai became the first hospital in the Middle East to be awarded JCI accreditation in May 2000 and has successfully maintained its accreditation seven times. The Laboratory of the American Hospital Dubai was the first private lab in the Middle East to earn accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and was accredited for the ninth consecutive time in 2017.
In June 2016, it became the Middle East’s first to join the prestigious US-based Mayo Clinic Care Network, creating a new joint approach to patient care and close collaboration allowing patients access to Mayo Clinic expertise without leaving Dubai.
